Pattern 1902: Kimono Art: This kimono-style jacket has set-in sleeves and an over panel (optional) on the sleeve for you to embellish. Also included is the pattern for a traditional kimono jacket called "michiyuki" in Japan and worn over a kimono. Pattern 9502/2502: Flange Jacket: This jacket creates a striking silhouette with the shoulder flanges which run over the shoulder from front to back hems eliminating the need for shoulder pads. Seam line pockets are hidden behind the flanges. Front, back & sleeve pieces lend themselves to patchwork (pattern included) or other decorative treatments. Cuffs, flanges, collar and front closure panels of contrasting fabric set off the sleeves, fronts and back. Sleeves have wrist pleats tucked into the cuffs so that the jacket can be worn over bulky sweaters. Jacket length is hip or below waist length. With batting added this is a wonderful winter jacket.
